there’s like a few weird nods to the og series but for some reason they decided that all the action and quick comedy needed to instead just be mean-spiritedness spread out over unfun dramatic plots. it occasionally would get silly, but rarely in the way the og series did.

Crunchy’s not the best but their manga plan has some neat gimmick where it snaps into a frame and zooms in and you can easily jump from one to the next and makes it easy to read on a phone.
